Vic Garvey, founder and CEO of THE GARVEY GROUP, has over 25 years of experience in planning, producing and marketing prestigious events and fundraisers around the globe, including celebrations at Nine Olympic Games, Wimbledon, NBC's 75th Anniversary Celebration, The Kennedy Center, The Producers Guild of America, The Nantucket Film Festival, and the Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Simon, Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, and Lionel Richie Concerts for Autism Speaks.
Among many projects, Vic is currently preparing for the Cannes Film Festival, The Toronto Film Festival, the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada and the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, England.
Prior to establishing the independent production/consulting company, THE GARVEY GROUP, Vic served as Sr. Vice President of Olympics for the National Broadcasting Company serving as executive in charge of Olympic client marketing and VIP operations.
Vic's extensive experience and attention to detail was highlighted by NBC's 75th Anniversary Celebration at New York's famed Rockefeller Plaza, where Vic orchestrated the highest fireworks display in the history of New York City.
He was also responsible for The National Broadcasting Company of America's Client and Customer Marketing programs for the 92', 96', 00', 02' Olympic Games. He has staged events in Athens, Barcelona, Beijing, Cannes, London, Paris, Milan, Torino, Frankfurt, Sydney, Shanghai, Tokyo, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Doha, Qatar. In addition to his Entertainment/Media and Corporate Clients, Vic has helped raise over 5 million dollars for children's charities. |
